Advancing clathrate hydrate science for a decarbonized energy future.

Dr. Asheesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Energy Cluster, School of Advanced Engineering at UPES Dehradun, and a former Ramanujan Fellow recognised among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University. His research advances gas hydrate science for CO₂ capture and storage, natural gas and hydrogen storage, methane recovery, and flow assurance.

With international research experience at NUS Singapore, UWA Perth, and CSIRO Australia, he leads multi-crore national missions on CCUS and hydrate-based energy technologies under DST, CSIR, and SERB.
